About the Role
As a Data Center Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the backbone of our client's data center operations. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the seamless operation of high-performance, scalable, and secure networks.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain robust network solutions within data centers.
Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Manage VLANs, VPNs, and MPLS networks to ensure secure and efficient communication.
Monitor network performance and proactively address potential issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations and upgrades.
Implement network security protocols and disaster recovery measures.
Document network designs, configurations, and processes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on data center environments.
Expertise in Cisco, Juniper, or Arista network equipment.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and other routing protocols.
Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with network virtualization (e.g., VMware NSX, SDN).
Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
