Planet Technology has partnered with a Boston based company to locate a Helpdesk Tech (Level 1) candidate for a 6+ month contracting position (chance for temp to hire down the road).
No 3P's or sponsorship permitted. Candidates should be legal to work in the US and not require sponsorship at any time.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting 750+ end users mostly in the Boston and DC offices, as well as supporting 6 other small offices using a remote desktop. You will need to be able to wear many hats if needed (flexibility is key)!
Must haves:
1-3+ years of experience of end-user support experience (will accept a recent college graduate in Computer Science or a related field)
Experience with Windows 10 (prefers some MAC experience if possible)
Experience with Microsoft Office 365
Experience creating workstation images
Some AD (just basic level changing passwords...etc)
Experience deploying Windows patches and security fixes
Some AV experience (support conference rooms)
Associate degree or its equivalent is required
Strong customer service skills, and communication (verbal and written)
