As an Enterprise Cloud Administrator, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our IT infrastructure, supporting educators, staff, and students in a forward-thinking and innovative environment.
Your Role
As an Enterprise Cloud Administrator, you will:
Design, implement, and manage LAUSD's enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Oversee email and collaboration platforms such as Office 365 and Google Workspace.
Monitor system performance, configure access controls (RBAC), and ensure cloud security compliance.
Develop disaster recovery operations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain robust system documentation.
Provide leadership in deploying cutting-edge technologies aligned with the District's IT initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
(Additional qualifying experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.)
Experience:
5+ years in enterprise infrastructure/cloud platform administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
At least 2 years managing systems that serve 5,000+ email users daily.
(3 years of supervisory/management experience preferred.)
Special Requirements:
A valid California driver's license.
Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, AWS SysOps Administrator, or equivalent are preferred.
