Job Title: ServiceNow Developer / Administrator (10-15 years experience)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer / Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in developing, customizing, and administering ServiceNow platforms, with a strong background in handling large-scale enterprise implementations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and continuous improvement of our ServiceNow environment.
Key Responsibilities:
ServiceNow Development & Configuration: Design, develop, and implement custom ServiceNow solutions, modules, and applications including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and custom applications.
Administration & Maintenance: Manage and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including user and role management, security, performance tuning, and platform upgrades.
Integration Management: Work on integrations with third-party systems and internal applications, leveraging REST, SOAP, and other integration methods.
Customization & Scripting: Customize workflows, forms, UI policies, business rules, and client scripts using JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting techniques.
Incident, Problem & Change Management: Oversee the lifecycle of incident, problem, and change management processes, ensuring compliance with ITIL best practices.
ServiceNow Best Practices: Ensure that the ServiceNow instance adheres to industry standards and best practices, providing ongoing recommendations for improvements.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior developers and administrators, promoting knowledge sharing within the team.
Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow development, configurations, and integrations.
Support & Troubleshooting: Provide support to end-users and troubleshoot issues as they arise in the ServiceNow environment.
Required Qualifications:
10-15+ years of hands-on experience working with ServiceNow in a developer and/or administrator capacity.
Expertise in ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and custom application development.
Strong experience in ServiceNow scripting: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Script Includes.
Proficiency with ServiceNow integrations, including REST, SOAP, and other common integration protocols.
Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, reporting, and dashboards.
In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and how they map to ServiceNow functionality.
ServiceNow Developer (CAD) and Administrator (CSA) certifications preferred.
Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of ServiceNow Advanced features (e.g., Virtual Agent, Service Portal, Orchestration).
Experience with Cloud technologies and platforms.
Knowledge of ServiceNow DevOps practices and automation tools.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
