Key Responsibilities:
Join a team helps with release and defect management within our operations engineering teams.
Work across different functional areas coordinating defect ticket activities and serve as primary point of contact between Operations and our cross-functional partners: Engineering, Product, and Release Management.
Drive resolution, prioritization, and updates for customer and non-customer impacting defects.
Hosts meetings, generates reports, creates dashboards and optimizes defect intake process flows.
Schedule and manage working sessions or trouble shooting sessions for high priority production and/or release blocking Issues.
Works closely with Operations, Engineering, Product, and Release Management teams to track high priority customer and non-customer impacting defects.
Create and own postmortem reporting on high priority defects once resolved.
Engage Engineering and lab teams to involve external vendor issue resolution.
Work closely with Release Management and Vendor Management team on blocking defects which need attention.
Collaborative and possesses clear communication skills.
Required Skills and Experience:
2+ years of experience managing software releases, bugs, defects, and/or features
Jira experience (Experience creating dashboards, JQL, customizing workflows would all be helpful)
Confluence experience
Root cause analysis and/or testing experience
Learning mindset, analytical and critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to prioritize, set clear expectations, and focus on deadlines and deliverables.
Ability to speak with people of all backgrounds and expertise, connecting with business leaders and technologists.
Ability to clearly convey defect status, impacts, and priority to engineering, product, leadership, and stakeholders.
Ability to drive collaboration across multiple teams, ensuring that the right people have the information they need for resolution.
Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
