We are currently seeking a dedicated Procurement Continuous Improvement Consultant to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our procurement processes. This role focuses on driving continuous improvement by identifying challenges within the procurement organization, collaborating with teams to develop solutions, and implementing sustainable changes.
Responsibilities:
Track and analyze procurement metrics to identify issues and determine root causes.
Conduct process mapping to evaluate current workflows and pinpoint areas for improvement.
Develop and implement corrective actions to drive process improvements.
Proactively anticipate and address emerging procurement challenges.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of improvements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in continuous improvement within procurement, with the ability to process map and drive change initiatives.
Strong problem-solving skills, preferably within a structured framework such as DMAIC.
Proficiency in root cause analysis to identify and resolve procurement issues.
Solid understanding of procurement processes and service contract setup, preferably within SAP or other ERP systems.
Experience in building dashboards, ideally in SmartSheets, with strong proficiency in Excel or Spotfire as an alternative.
Preferred Experience:
Background in the pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries, with experience working in large, matrixed organizations.
