The Project Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, sales, field labor, and all aspects of project execution from concept to completion. This includes overseeing project estimating, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract management, while ensuring projects stay within scope and budget. The role also involves mentoring Project Engineers and Coordinators.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead project management efforts, from sales and estimating to final execution.
Oversee scheduling, field labor, and project cost control, ensuring financial goals are met.
Build and maintain relationships with both external clients and internal teams (Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, etc.).
Develop and present proposals, contracts, and change orders.
Mentor and train junior staff, and contribute to recruiting and coaching efforts.
Actively participate in company meetings and contribute to improving technical and project management capabilities.
Position Requirements:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience managing projects from $50,000 to $25 million.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills.
Proven ability to develop new business and maintain client relationships.
Must operate independently with high integrity and demonstrate leadership.
