A renowned construction company is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-driven Project Engineer to join their dynamic team in Phoenix. In this role, you will work closely with the project management and field teams to ensure successful project completion-safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong technical capabilities, a proactive approach, and a commitment to excellence in construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with the project management team to plan, schedule, and coordinate various construction activities.
  • Documentation Handling: Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting notes.
  • Budget Management: Track project costs, assist in budget management, and help prepare financial forecasts.
  • Quality Assurance: Support quality control efforts by ensuring that project specifications and industry standards are consistently met.
  • Procurement Assistance: Aid in the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to maintain project timelines.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Liaise with subcontractors to communicate project needs and track performance.
  • Safety Oversight: Work with safety teams to promote a culture of workplace safety and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance to field teams to solve construction challenges efficiently.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction or a similar field (internship experience is considered).
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
  • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and quality control regulations.
