PROGRAM MANAGER (MSP/VMS)

Remote (EST)

Permanent role

The Program Manager (PM) plays a critical role in the daily operation, management, and performance of one or more Client workforce management programs. The PM is a trusted leader responsible for driving program adoption, managing service delivery, and overseeing expansion efforts to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction. This individual will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Magnit Vendor Management System (VMS) (formerly WAND) and provide best-practice guidance to end users, suppliers, and stakeholders.We are seeking a skilled and proactive professional with at least three years of experience managing workforce management programs utilizing the Magnit VMS platform along with any other major platforms (Beeline, Fieldglass, Vndly, CoupaCW, etc.)

The PM will support a range of program types, including:
  • Statement of Work (SOW) contract management
  • Temporary/Staff Augmentation services
  • Employer of Record (EOR) services
  • Agent of Record (AOR/1099/Independent Contractor) compliance and management

Primary Responsibilities

Program Management
  • VMS Expertise: Master and utilize VMS technologies to manage all aspects of program operations, with a focus on Magnit VMS.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Conduct intake calls to align on requirements, facilitate spotlight calls for priority requisitions, and support the candidate selection process.
  • Supplier Management: Oversee supplier utilization, maintain open communication with supplier partners, and conduct program introduction calls with potential vendors.
  • Talent and Assignment Oversight: Manage worker onboarding, assignment modifications, and offboarding while ensuring compliance with client and program requirements.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain routine reports and dashboards for performance monitoring, including supplier scorecards and executive-level reporting.
  • Governance: Lead weekly and monthly stakeholder meetings and prepare/deliver Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) highlighting program insights, analytics, and opportunities for optimization.

Client Adoption and Program Expansion
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across all organizational levels to ensure program adoption and satisfaction.
  • Identify and execute on opportunities for program expansion, driving account growth and maturity across Client's MSP capability framework.
  • Proactively deliver strategies to enhance program efficiency, quality, and alignment with client business objectives.

New Program Implementation Support
  • Collaborate with project teams to implement new VMS modules and expand program scope, engaging in requirements gathering, process design, and change management.
  • Coordinate and deliver tailored training sessions for administrators, managers, and suppliers on new processes and technologies.
  • Contribute to test planning and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system readiness and operational excellence.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Hands-on experience with MAGNIT and other major VMS platforms (Fieldglass, Beeline, CoupaCW, VNDLY, etc.).
  • Experience managing contingent workforce programs in staffing or managed services environments, preferably for Fortune 500/1000 clients.
  • Proven success in roles requiring relationship management, customer service excellence, and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with contingent workforce models, including staffing, SOW, EOR, and 1099 compliance.
  • This position requires a highly self-motivated, solution-oriented professional who is driven to follow tasks through to completion. Candidates should excel at problem-solving, possess strong accountability, and consistently deliver work on time and with accuracy.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups, data validation) and PowerPoint. Familiarity with MS Project or Visio is a plus.
