The ideal candidate has experience in sales leadership in an extremely fast-paced environment, has a "roll up your sleeves" mentality, is highly organized, and has extensive experience managing through a CRM such as HubSpot or Sales Force.
The Lead Optimization Manager plays a crucial role in driving performance and accountability within the sales team to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. This position is responsible for ensuring the sales team's performance aligns with our goals, and that we are meeting or exceeding our sales goals. The critical function of this role is to ensure that every sales lead is responded to within 5 minutes, followed up with relentlessly, and that we are providing a best-in-class experience for our customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead Optimization Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement effective lead optimization strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, expand market share, and drive revenue growth.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for improvement and adapt the lead optimization strategy accordingly.
Set clear sales objectives tied to lead optimization, performance expectations, and KPIs for the team, regularly evaluating their performance and providing support to meet targets.
Sales Process and Operations: Establish and optimize the sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to deal closure and post-sales support, ensuring a great borrower experience across the lifecycle of every inbound lead.
Work with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, product, and customer support, to align efforts and ensure smooth sales operations and Borrower Experience.
Lead Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor sales performance, specifically tied to lead optimization, track progress against targets, and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.
Training and Development: Provide ongoing sales training for the sales team to enhance their skills and product knowledge as part of our effort to ensure no lead is left behind. Work with the sales team to instill a fanatic approach to follow-up, Borrower Experience, and repeat business.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, sales techniques, and best practices in lead optimization, sharing relevant knowledge with the team.
Qualifications
A documented and visible track record in sales leadership, lead optimization, and success in a fast-paced sales environment is a must.
Proven experience in sales management, or several years as a top performing sales professional, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
A fanatical and relentless approach to sales lead follow-up. We are looking for a leader that, above all else, believes that nothing on a salesperson's plate trumps working the sales leads that are on your plate.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must. You will assume a leadership role in a high-performing sales team. You need to be a natural leader who is able to gain the respect and trust of the team in an industry that may be new to you.
