Position Overview
We are seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee and coordinate performance across assigned program platforms, ensuring projects meet functional, technical, and profitability objectives. This role serves as a key connection between fabrication partners, leadership, and occasionally customers. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, manufacturing-focused environment. This position offers the flexibility to work in either Ladson or Goose Creek, South Carolina.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate program performance, aligning with project goals, timelines, and profitability metrics.
Act as a liaison between fabrication partners, leadership, and customers as needed.
Track and report program metrics, risks, assumptions, and milestones using project management tools.
Prepare project and program documentation, including internal and external presentations.
Identify risks or interruptions affecting budgets, timelines, or quality, and provide actionable recommendations.
Manage work orders outside the original scope, ensuring appropriate approvals and invoicing.
Recommend resources, schedules, and potential program enhancements for improved profitability.
Oversee technical data and program documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Communicate project updates clearly to team members, departments, and customers.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Program Analyst, Project Analyst, or in contracts administration within a manufacturing or production environment.
Proven leadership and excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project.
Experience managing departmental budgets.
Preferred: Experience in heavy plate fabrication and welding.
Strong multitasking abilities and a high level of attention to detail.
Education and Experience
Associate's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years of relevant experience, including 1 year in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
