We are seeking a candidate with experience in portfolio management within the generics pharmaceutical industry to join our team in NJ. This role will be responsible for managing our portfolio, taking products from the nomination stage through commercialization. The position will report directly to the VP of Marketing and Sales Operations. RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage our 505(b)(2) and biosimilar portfolio; develop and assist with executing go-to-market strategies for the company's non-traditional generics
Prepare and maintain business cases for our 505(b)(2) and biosimilar portfolio
Identify new generic product opportunities for US market by utilizing information and competitive intelligence gathered through databases, analyst reports, and information provided by teams.
Coordinate on and monitor new product prioritization for products from pre-filing through launch
Manage transition from portfolio products to new product launch planning
Utilize databases such as IQVIA to evaluate product opportunities, identify key trends, and monitor the competitive landscape of our portfolio
Determine the viability of new product opportunities, providing feedback to support Go/No Go product decisions
Continuously evaluate our portfolio to identify areas of risk and opportunity
Manage product initiation form procedures and processes, including recommending and approving trade dress as well as approving costs of development
Maintain accurate forecasts for products within the portfolio
Support and participate in monthly R&D meetings
Continuously explore ways to streamline and improve current processes and tools
Understand industry standards, our policies, processes, and business standards
Perform other related duties and ad hoc responsibilities as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills required
Extensive experience with IQVIA preferred
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
Ability to prioritize and work well within a dynamic environment
Self-starter who can be effective with minimal supervision
Analytical with a keen attention to detail
