Founded 33 years ago, Allied Consultants is an Austin-based firm and premier provider of technical and business staffing solutions for the State of Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to be a key resource on a technical services team for our client, Austin Energy (AE).
**Location of job: Hybrid- 2 days a week in office, 3 days remote.**
Responsibilities
Responsible for the planning, coordination, requirements gathering, business analysis, specifications development, project planning, project monitoring, and project status reporting and system implementation of moderate to complex business solutions as it pertains to existing renewable energy programs and renewable energy programs currently under development.
Qualifications
Minimum (Required):
YES: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Business or Management, Engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or management information systems
YES :Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI
4-7 years of demonstrated experience implementing IT/OT enterprise application projects
4-7 years experience in project procurement / RFP development / bid evaluation
4-7 years of demonstrated application of project management techniques, WBS (work breakdown structure) development, and coordination of people and resources
4-7 years proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio, WebEx
4-7 years proficient in change management methodologies
4-7 years proficient in presenting to multiple levels within an organization
Preferred (Optional):
3 years experience leading projects related to photovoltaics
3 years experience in developing and managing remote teams
3 years experience with utility business practices and relevant business needs
3 years experience with working with a government entity
