TriSource is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager to lead and oversee a program supervisor, residential specialist and other staff members in a children's shelter setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in program management social work, as well as grants and funding requirements.
Responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to:
Manages all aspects of shelter in accordance with licensing standards and Department of Health and Human Services requirements.
Directly supervises and evaluates capabilities of staff to achieve program goals.
Conducts staff meetings and individual supervision on a regular basis.
Prepares budgets and monitors program expenses.
Interprets agency policy and explains program standards and goals as needed to staff, government officials and general public.
Ensures daily activities for children and staff scheduling is maintained appropriately
Provides on-call coverage as assigned
Provides all reports as requested/required by DHHS
Investigates and follows up on all CPS complaints as required.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal, decision-making, problem-solving, oral, and written skills.
Education and Experience Required
A master's degree in social work, psychology or counseling and a combination of two years professional experience with children, in a children's residential facility and in administration or supervision;
or a baccalaureate degree in social work, psychology or counseling and a combination of three years professional experience with children, in a children's residential facility and in administration or supervision;
or a baccalaureate degree and a combination of four years of professional experience with children, in a children's residential facility and in administration or supervision.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
