Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive on tackling complex tax preparation and planning challenges while mentoring junior staff. You will play a key role in providing sophisticated tax services to clients with intricate financial situations, working alongside a collaborative team in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and their associated entities (trusts, partnerships, and closely held businesses).
  • Collaborate with internal teams across wealth management and accounting to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Provide tax planning and strategy advice to meet client goals, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
  • Mentor junior staff members and contribute to team development and process improvements.
  • Participate in client meetings, offering insights and building trusted relationships.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • Master's in Taxation a plus
  • 10+ years of experience. Candidates should have a strong background in tax preparation, review, and planning experience (ideally with high-net-worth clients).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complex tasks efficiently.
  • Polished, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
  • Driven, challenge-seeking mindset with the ability to meet and exceed high expectations.
