This rapidly-growing investment firm is in search for a skilled real estate transactional attorney to become Real Estate Counsel to their expanding team. The ideal candidate will provide legal support and guidance on a wide range of real estate transactions and matters for this firm on the rise, and would receive a full package of benefits along with competitive compensation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and support on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of real estate documents, including purchase agreements, leases, and loan documents.
Conduct due diligence for real estate transactions, including title and survey review, and identify and resolve potential legal issues.
Collaborate with internal teams, including asset management, finance, and development, to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Stay current on relevant real estate laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide proactive legal guidance.
Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures related to real estate matters.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in California.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in real estate law, preferably in a corporate or law firm setting.
Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.
