We are currently seeking a Manager of Medical Economics focused on advancing cutting-edge healthcare and innovation. This position will play a pivotal role in managing economic analyses and cost-effectiveness strategies within oncology services. The ideal candidate will have expertise in healthcare economics, data analysis, and financial management, specifically within oncology care settings.
As a key member of the medical economics team, you will work closely with clinical and operational leaders to optimize resource utilization, drive financial performance, and support value-based care initiatives-all while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct economic modeling and cost-effectiveness analysis to evaluate treatments and programs.
Lead data analytics efforts to assess healthcare utilization trends and clinical outcomes.
Collaborate with clinical teams to identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising patient care.
Assist in the forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance tracking for services.
Support value-based care and alternative payment model initiatives.
Prepare and present financial reports, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in health economics.
Build relationships with key external stakeholders to stay updated on reimbursement and policy changes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Health Economics, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare economics
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and economic modeling software (e.g., Excel, SAS, R).
Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models and alternative payment structures.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
