This position is Loan Processor meets Client Relationship Manager. We're looking for someone to bring energy, expertise, and a commitment to excellence to our growing team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of the action, ensuring seamless loan transactions by leveraging your deep industry knowledge and sharp attention to detail while driving the customer relationship, ensuring engagement and retention.
This is an in-office position located at our headquarters in Austin, TX. Remote candidates will not be considered.
Position Summary
The ideal Senior Loan Processor candidate has a strong processing background, leadership skills and is an enthusiastic individual who is resourceful and works well in a fast-paced environment. Experience with hard money lending, while not required, is a plus! The Loan Processor's main responsibility is managing the timeline of the transaction and communicating with internal and external parties to achieve loan approval for on time closings with an eye to customer satisfaction and retention. We haven't got all of those 5 star reviews for nothing! We are looking to give our borrowers a concierge experience to keep them coming back and you are a big part of that experience.
Duties & Responsibilities • Manage a pipeline of 45+ loans within processing and doc gathering workflows • Coordinate completion of required functions within the loan process • Own loan timelines and client engagement from processing until loan approval • Communicate with loan officers, processors, title agents, insurance agents and management, as required, to
reach a clear underwriting decision • Demonstrate a customer service mindset by managing outreach to borrowers to obtain required documentation
via phone call, email, and text message • Review and input key loan level data points within operating systems (LendingWise and Mercury) • Demonstrate advanced problem solving skills, showing knowledge of operating systems and the ability to
research and problem solve • Review supporting documentation provided by borrowers and 3rd parties to assist in compiling a loan file • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism as the Initial introduction to the customer, welcoming them to
the HouseMax product
Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent preferred • 15+ years of loan processing experience; experience in fast paced environment preferred • Hard money lending experience a plus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high level of attention to detail • Outstanding customer service skills • Ability to exhibit resourcefulness to problem solve independently • US Work Authorization (required) • Microsoft Office proficiency and computer navigation skills
