Who is the Texas Bankers Association?

The Texas Bankers Association (TBA) is the largest and oldest state banking organization in the country. Founded in 1885, TBA has grown and evolved over the years in fulfilling its mission to provide world class advocacy, education and products and services to approximately 400 member banks across Texas. A not-for-profit, 501(c)(6) entity, TBA has also serves as the umbrella to three for-profit subsidiaries and a non-profit foundation - all totaling nearly 70 employees across the enterprise. What our team Needs:

The Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing email marketing campaigns to drive engagement, revenue, and customer retention. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating email marketing strategies, analyzing data to optimize campaigns, and managing email marketing automation tools. Additionally, the Email Marketing Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cohesive marketing campaigns and ensure brand consistency. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and project management skills, be highly analytical, and have a strong understanding of email marketing best practices.

Key Components of the Position:
  • Drive top-of-funnel demand through content and event promotion, as well as personalized, triggered emails for down-funnel conversion.
  • Work closely with multiple cross-functional stakeholders throughout the TBA and its lines of businesses and brands.
  • Identify data-driven improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop end-to-end triggered demand-gen email campaigns as well as ad-hoc promotional emails for segment content and events.
  • Own audience segmentation and provide visibility into list composition and growth by segment.
  • Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on email performance, trends, KPIs and results.
  • Create/build email journeys with personalized content.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications & Characteristics:
  • 3+ years' professional working experience within an email marketing role.
  • Hands-on experience working within in a CRM.
  • Experience with Monday.com, Hubspot, Canva, Mailchimp, MS Outlook, Teams, and Planner (a plus).
  • Experience with Business Intelligence / reporting tools.
  • Ability to build email journeys with personalized content.
  • Advanced copywriting skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees.
  • Highly organized, adaptable and detail oriented.
  • High School Graduate.
