The Investment Analyst will have the opportunity to take on a significant amount of responsibility and get exposure underwriting an array of industry, company, and transaction types. As a value-added resource to the Investment Team, he/she will primarily assist in the due diligence of new investment opportunities, research initiatives, and helping to expand our partner network.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Supporting the Firm's investment professionals in the evaluation and due diligence of new investment opportunities, including financial modeling and the drafting of investment memos; • Managing the Firm's databases and investment pipeline; • Assisting in the monitoring of existing investments; • Aiding in the expansion of the Firm's partner network; • Leading research and benchmarking initiatives; • Creating marketing materials and investor presentations
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics preferred) • Relevant work experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, or other alternative investment strategies • Strong technical skills, including experience modeling, manipulating data, and preparing PowerPoint presentations • Knowledge of finance theory and accounting principles • Understanding of valuation methodologies, especially transaction comparables • Outstanding written and oral communication skills • Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to work independently • Distinguished academic record and activities outside of the classroom
