We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to support electric utility new business programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. This role involves managing the issuance of work orders, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring timely responses to client needs, and overseeing subcontractor performance.
Responsibilities
Overseeing the issuance of work orders to subcontractors, ensuring alignment with program requirements and timelines.
Organizing and facilitating regular meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to discuss project updates, resolve issues, and maintain alignment on goals.
Disseminating program communications to subcontractors and stakeholders, ensuring consistency and clarity of messaging.
Performing heavy data management tasks, including data validation and analysis, to support project tracking and reporting.
Generating detailed, regular reports on program health, project status, and performance metrics for internal and client review.
Acting as the main point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring their needs and feedback are addressed in a timely manner.
Monitoring subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and program requirements.
Ensuring all client inquiries and requests are addressed promptly and accurately, maintaining strong client relationships.
Identifying and mitigating project risks, resolving issues that could impact timelines or deliverables.
Supporting the preparation and submission of program documentation, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably within the utilities or construction industries.
Utility new business experience preferred.
PMP certification preferred.
High proficiency in project management tools such as Monday.com, SharePoint, and Excel for data management and reporting.
Strong skills in data analysis and validation, with an ability to manage large datasets accurately.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to manage program communications effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with exceptional attention to detail and time management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify project risks and implement effective solutions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, balancing client expectations and team deliverables.
