Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to support electric utility new business programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. This role involves managing the issuance of work orders, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring timely responses to client needs, and overseeing subcontractor performance.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the issuance of work orders to subcontractors, ensuring alignment with program requirements and timelines.
  • Organizing and facilitating regular meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to discuss project updates, resolve issues, and maintain alignment on goals.
  • Disseminating program communications to subcontractors and stakeholders, ensuring consistency and clarity of messaging.
  • Performing heavy data management tasks, including data validation and analysis, to support project tracking and reporting.
  • Generating detailed, regular reports on program health, project status, and performance metrics for internal and client review.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring their needs and feedback are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and program requirements.
  • Ensuring all client inquiries and requests are addressed promptly and accurately, maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks, resolving issues that could impact timelines or deliverables.
  • Supporting the preparation and submission of program documentation, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably within the utilities or construction industries.
  • Utility new business experience preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • High proficiency in project management tools such as Monday.com, SharePoint, and Excel for data management and reporting.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and validation, with an ability to manage large datasets accurately.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to manage program communications effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with exceptional attention to detail and time management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify project risks and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, balancing client expectations and team deliverables.
