Job Title: Product Development Associate - Home Lighting & Decor
Location: New York City (On-Site)
We are seeking a passionate and talented Product Development Associate to join our team, focusing on home lighting and decor collections, including seasonal lines. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in product development and purchasing within these categories, possess a keen eye for design, and excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are critical to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
Research and analyze competitors' offerings, trends, and pricing to inform product development and identify market opportunities.
Prepare and present new product ideas and concepts to the development team for evaluation.
Communicate with overseas factories proficiently via email and Wechat.
Collaborate with the photography team during product shoots to maintain high visual standards and consistency with brand identity.
Review and test product samples to ensure they meet functional, aesthetic, and quality standards.
Host bi-monthly product meetings with cross-functional teams to share updates and gather feedback on new product launches.
Participate in team meetings to support the execution of development plans for home lighting and decor products.
Provide actionable feedback to the merchandising and marketing teams to optimize product presentation on digital platforms.
This is an on-site role requiring attendance in our New York City office 4 days a week
Desired Skills and Experience
Proven experience in product development, especially in home lighting and decor.
Background in design fields such as interior design or industrial design.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A keen eye for design and detail, with a commitment to quality.

Creative and innovative thinker with problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Photoshop, AutoCAD, Rhino or similar tools is a plus.
