Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, this role is pivotal in shaping the evolution of the product management discipline at Alliant.
Principle Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Chief Product Officer (CPO) to champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
Maintain and effectively communicate multi-product roadmaps, ensuring alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including discovery, creation, enhancements, and end of life planning.
Lead ideation, development, and MVP launches, paving the way for successful product rollouts and expansion.
Conduct market research and strategies to drive innovation and maintain market leadership.
Partner with the CPO to manage product budgets and create financial models that demonstrate ROI and support margin growth objectives.
Build strong relationships with Sales, IT, Marketing, Operations, and Legal to ensure seamless execution and alignment of product initiatives.
Prioritize and balance short-term wins with long-term vision, ensuring the product roadmap delivers maximum value for the business and our clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
5+ years of product management experience in digital solutions and/or direct mail, with a focus on marketing solutions.
Proven success in launching new products and managing products through the entire lifecycle.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring teams and fostering collaboration across diverse functions.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and other product managers.
Experience influencing senior leadership with data-driven insights to articulate insights, strategies, and key performance indicators (KPIs) and inform strategic decisions.
Data-driven strategic thinker with the ability to tactically execute.
Skilled in assessing product desirability, feasibility, and viability to ensure successful outcomes.
Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
Experience driving roadmap strategy, prioritization, and definition.
Comfortable with iterative testing to validate concepts and assumptions through both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
Adept at developing KPIs and using them to guide product development and measure success.
