Our client near O'Hare Airport in Elk Grove Village is seeking a Producer to drive the execution of innovative product initiatives. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this opportunity is for you!

We're seeking a Producer to drive the execution of product initiatives in partnership with Product Management. While Product Management owns the strategic vision and design, you'll own the execution plan and delivery process, ensuring that implementation aligns with the product vision and user experience goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about the end user experience and driven to create an environment where teams thrive, communicate openly, and deliver exceptional results.

As a Producer, you will partner with:

? Product Management: Collaborate to understand design and strategy while raising implementation risks, addressing scope decisions, and advocating for prioritizing issues that impact the end-user experience.

? Software Engineering: Define project plans, requirements, and tasks, ensuring alignment across all phases of development.

? Quality Assurance (QA): Coordinate QA project efforts, ensuring the delivery of seamless user experiences .

? Internal Customers: Facilitate cross-team development and support to ensure project alignment and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary job responsibility is software project management and representing project timelines to the business, ensuring that deliverables align with expectations.

Project Execution:

? Transform Product Management's requirements into detailed execution plans

? Drive team progress and ensure tasks are delivered on time by identifying and addressing blockers.

? Manage scope and timeline commitments while coordinating with Product Management on trade-off decisions

? Keep stakeholders informed about execution progress, risks, and timeline updates Team Coordination

? Partner with Product Management, Engineering and QA to translate the project design into actionable development tasks and establish project timelines.

? Work with engineering to identify technical constraints and implementation challenges

? Coordinate with QA to ensure testing aligns with product requirements

? Facilitate communication between Product Management and engineering teams about technical feasibility

Quality Assurance:

? Ensure implementation meets Product Management's quality standards and design specifications

? Coordinate user acceptance testing based on Product Management's criteria

? Track and prioritize bugs based on user impact, consulting with Product Management on priority calls

? Manage the resolution of technical debt in coordination with product priorities

Process Management:

? Establish transparent communication channels among cross-functional teams, ensuring everyone is informed of changes and updates throughout the project lifecycle.

? Schedule and run execution-focused meetings (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives)

? Track and report on development progress to Product Management and stakeholders

? Identify process improvements that enhance delivery efficiency

? Foster an environment where team members feel confident taking ownership of their tasks and decisions, ensuring alignment with project goals.

? Encourage a collaborative and supportive approach to problem-solving, focusing on solutions.

Education and Experience:

? Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Project Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a similar discipline). Equivalent work experience may also be acceptable.

? 3+ years of experience in project management, production, or a related role, ideally within software development or QA.

? Proven experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, product management, QA).

? Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira, Trello, or similar project management software.

Technical Skills:

? Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and workflows.

? Proficiency in using project management tools to track schedules, dependencies, and deliverables.

? Basic knowledge of software engineering principles or technical environments (helpful but not always required).

Communication and Leadership Skills:

? Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate clear and open communication across teams.

? Demonstrated ability to empower teams, delegate effectively, and foster ownership among team members.

? Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on solutions-oriented approaches.

? Ability to mediate and resolve conflicts by focusing on facts, encouraging constructive feedback, and guiding the team toward practical solutions.

Organizational and Management Skills:

? Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in managing multiple tasks and priorities.

? Ability to identify and mitigate risks related to project scope, timelines, and resource constraints.

? Proven ability to track and manage schedules while keeping all stakeholders informed.

Preferred Qualifications:

? Experience working in industries where the user experience is central, such as gaming, technology, or design.

? Experience working in environments with frequent, iterative projects that require careful coordination and launch planning with internal stakeholders.

? Background in QA processes or experience coordinating with QA teams.

? Familiarity with collaboration tools like Confluence, Slack, or similar platforms.
