Summary: We are seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist who has a deep understanding of the paid media landscape and agency functions. The ideal candidate should have experience with digital paid media campaigns across search (Google, Bing), social (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat), and programmatic. While executional experience isn't required, it is a must to be familiar with traditional media as a whole. It is a plus if the candidate has previous executional experience with Food Service media.
This is a strategic and executional role that will work closely with the Integrated Media Leads. The Senior Paid Media Strategist will be responsible for planning and executing paid media campaigns for multiple clients. This person will have the opportunity to learn from a team of paid media experts, analysts, and marketing technologists to drive measurable business growth for clients through performance marketing. Responsibilities
Independently manage day to day campaign monitoring in social, search and programmatic platforms
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and flawless execution throughout the campaign lifecycle
Research and develop media plan considerations based on client business objectives and challenges
Infuse digital-first and data-driven thinking throughout the agency
Build and maintain relationships with media partners
Negotiate ad buys with media vendors; understand the benefits of working with different partners and be able to provide strategic rationale for partner recommendations
Traffic creative assets in self-service platforms and to direct publishers
Report on campaign performance to clients using performance marketing best practices; observations, insights, and actionable recommendations
Accurately manage billing and invoice processes
Interact with clients remotely and in-person to ensure account growth and foster agency relationships
Collaborate with agency teams including Client Leadership, Brand Strategy and Creative
Participate in client-facing presentations
Continue to stay on top of emerging media trends and marketing technologies; form POVs for the agency
Qualifications
2-4 years of agency experience executing integrated media campaigns
Strong understanding of media math - the ability to interpret performance metrics and make actionable recommendations
Experience working in platforms such as Meta Ads Manager and Google Campaign Manager
Experience working hands on in a DSP is a plus
Fluency with Excel (including pivot tables and vlookups) is a must. Experience with other data analysis or visualization tools such as Google Looker Studio is a plus
Demonstrates ability to multitask while maintaining high attention to detail, high level of organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
