What You'll Do
Research, design and develop processes to optimize quality, productivity and workflow
Develop production routes and define process parameters of cold drawn production operations
Develop standard operating procedures, document project results and changes, prepare periodic reports
Lead projects related to product and process industrialization
Lead data driven assessing of manufacturing processes to improve timing, costs and quality
Develop best practices and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures and operations
Define and develop operating instructions and procedures
Develop data analysis and reports to provide feedback and recommendations to improve
Drive SMED efforts
Tooling design and tooling management
Assist production and train teams in the field of new processes and procedures
Contribute to the continuous improvement system of the manufacturing facility
Qualifications
BS in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
Experience in Six Sigma implementation, certification preferred
2+ years experience as a process engineer preferred
Proficiency with computer and information technologies
Good communication skills
Must be able to work cross-functionally with all levels of the organization, local and abroad
Bilingual a plus
