Team Red Dog is working with our client, a global technology leader, to add a Business Process Improvement Consultant to join their dynamic Global Executive Briefing Program team. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role focused on documenting and enhancing current business processes across executive briefing centers. The team supports customer engagement by facilitating impactful meetings between executives and customers across multiple business units.
As part of this role, you'll dive deep into existing workflows, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and create comprehensive process documentation to drive global efficiencies. This position offers the unique opportunity to make tangible improvements to business operations by leveraging process optimization and cutting-edge AI tools like Copilot.
The candidate will benefit from having hands-on experience creating and maintaining comprehensive playbooks for multiple roles and understanding how those roles interact. They will be proactive and passionate about process improvement, demonstrating a strong ability to work independently and drive meaningful change. The candidate must be available to work onsite in Redmond, WA 1-2 days a week.
Top Required Skills (Must Haves):
Process Documentation and Playbook Creation: Minimum 5 years of experience documenting processes across roles and identifying key touchpoints between teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Minimum 5 years of experience working with cross-functional teams within large organizations.
AI and Automation: Minimum 3 years of experience using AI and automation to enhance business processes.
Opportunity Overview: This role is essential to documenting and improving the lifecycle of business engagements for executive briefing centers. By reviewing team interactions and workflows, the consultant will identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce touchpoints, and introduce automation where appropriate.
You will also play a pivotal role in establishing frameworks to keep documentation updated regularly and ensure seamless adoption of improved practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Process Review and Analysis: Conduct a detailed review of existing business processes across roles and centers to gain insights into team workflows.
Recommendations and Implementation: Provide actionable recommendations to simplify and optimize processes, including the introduction of automated solutions through AI tools.
Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed process playbooks, outlining end-to-end engagement workflows by role.
Collaboration and Interviews: Engage with team members to capture best practices and identify process pain points through interviews and observations.
Framework Creation: Establish a cadence for ongoing process documentation updates, ensuring that all changes are well-documented and shared across teams.
Automation: Leverage Microsoft AI tools like Copilot to automate repetitive tasks and enhance team productivity.
Training and Communication: Provide training and support for staff on updated processes, best practices, and the use of automation tools.
Candidate Requirements:
Years of Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in business process improvement or consulting roles.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Skills and Competencies:
Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to clearly outline workflows and process improvements.
Proficiency with process mapping and documentation tools.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Analytical mindset, with a passion for identifying opportunities to streamline workflows.
