We are looking for an experienced Buyer for a well-known company in Solon Ohio. The Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, supplies, and
services necessary for the company's operations. This role involves ensuring the best
possible prices, quality, and timely delivery of products while maintaining strong
relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Location: Solon Ohio- 100% onsite.
Salary: $58-70k-
Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the procurement team with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing,
and maintaining records.
Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure they are accurate and complete.
Manage procurement documentation, including contracts, agreements, and
invoices.
Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery schedules, and resolve any
issues or discrepancies.
Maintain and update suppliers contact information and records.
Assist in evaluating suppliers' performance and provide feedback to the
procurement team.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in placing orders to replenish stock as needed.
Generate and analyze regular reports on procurement activities, including order
status supplier performance, and inventory levels.
Collaborate with internal departments, including finance, operation, and
warehouse, to support procurement needs.
Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding procurements status and
issues.
All related duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
High school diploma or bachelor's degree is preferred.
2-3 years of experience in an administrative or procurement support role
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Microsoft Excell
Ability to perform work independently and as part of a team.
NetSuite experience preferred.
Excellent communication- strong verbal and written skills
