We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the development and implementation of innovative heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in designing energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop HVAC systems, including load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork, and piping layouts.
Perform energy modeling and analysis to optimize system performance and efficiency.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD and BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Ensure designs comply with local, state, and national codes (e.g., ASHRAE, LEED, and relevant standards).
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes.
Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and proposals for clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
8+ years of experience in HVAC system design and project management.
Proficiency in HVAC design software
Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and green building practices (e.g., ASHRAE, LEED).
Expertise in CAD and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
