A boutique CPA firm in Manhattan is seeking an Office Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in the administrative space, with prior experience in a CPA or accounting firm preferred.
Salary: $70K - $75K
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Onsite: Monday - Friday in office
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to a team of accountants, ensuring adherence to office procedures, standards, and deadlines.
Manage client communications, including phone calls and emails, and assist with scheduling and appointment setting.
Oversee the preparation and organization of tax documents and support basic accounting tasks.
Handle office operations to maintain efficiency, including ordering supplies, filing, and managing the reception desk.
Assist with generating financial reports and other year-round projects with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
2+ years of administrative experience in a CPA or accounting firm.
Familiarity with CCH Axcess Tax or similar accounting software preferred (ProSystem fx, ProSystem Axcess tax, etc.).
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Comfortable working independently and managing the office as the sole administrator.
Client-facing experience with the ability to implement new service models.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
