As the Store Director at Smartech, you will lead the New York store's operations, driving sales, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a high-performing, customer-focused team. You'll oversee the customer journey, build strong relationships, and collaborate with senior leadership to exceed strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Development:
  • Inspire, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, ensuring seamless collaboration among Store Managers and floor staff.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training to build a knowledgeable and customer-focused team.

Sales and Commercial Strategy:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth and surpass store targets.
  • Create and execute commercial plans to enhance store performance and meet business objectives.

Customer Experience:
  • Elevate the in-store customer journey by creating engaging and immersive experiences.
  • Build long-term customer relationships, fostering loyalty through personalized service and innovative engagement strategies.

Operational Efficiency:
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, including inventory management, compliance with safety standards, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Optimize shift schedules and team positioning based on store traffic, seasonal trends, and local events.

Performance Management:
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize results.

Requirements and Preferences:

  • Experience: 7+ years in retail management, with a preference for luxury or tech-focused environments.
  • Sales Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading teams to exceed sales goals and KPIs.
  • Customer Focus: Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a focus on creating outstanding customer experiences.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and interpersonal skills for effective team and stakeholder communication.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with technology products and a passion for innovation is a plus.
