MLCHC is looking for an experienced Director of Dental Operations to manage 3 dental locations. The Director of Dental Operations is responsible for analyzing, managing, and improving the efficiency of workflows of clinical support and non-clinical support staff to ensure dental operations and dental service delivery meets the needs of the patient as well as meeting the operational, quality, customer service, and performance goals of the organization.
Responsibilities
Manages the ongoing operations of 3 different locations
Prepares, analyzes, and reports to monthly department reports to leadership including but not limited to utilization, production, billing accuracy, and timeliness of general operations
Maximizes software programs for effective and efficient data collection and reporting
Leads quality improvement projects and develops testing and training documents
Manages special programs, including but not limited to Endodontics and Orthodontics
Manages planning development and improvement for the dental department
Analyzes all operations and business practices to improve efficiency in patient scheduling
Serves as a liaison with outside agencies, including maintaining documentation for preceptor and extern programs
Oversees development opportunities for dental support staff in all locations
Commits to the CEO's Leadership Expectations as a leader of people and working as part of the Leadership Team
Actively participate in Leadership Forum by presenting information and communicating messages to and from the department
Develops and maintains policies and procedures as appropriate to the role
Actively participates with Human Resources in the hiring process
Develops and coordinates new hire onboarding process and continuous training programs for all staff within the department
Requirements
Job duties require knowledge and training in the field of business, typically acquired through a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
3 years minimum supervisory/leadership experience required
5 years of Dental experience preferred but not required
Must have reliable transportation to travel between 3 dental sites, provide documentation of auto insurance, and a valid driver's license
