Our firm is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual with relevant experience, ideally in the financial services industry, to work closely with an experienced staff of professionals in a collaborative environment. This person will be detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills who is able to manage multiple tasks while exercising a high level of confidentiality with an efficient approach to work. Details of the position include: • Hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. • Competitive salary and bonus • Health Insurance (100% paid by employer) • Parking (paid by employer) • SEP IRA (funded by employer after 1 year of employment)
Responsibilities would include: • This position will work closely with the firm's managing partner, office manager, and operations manager. • Prepare documents, including correspondence, spreadsheets, and presentations (including graphics and charts) for prospective and current clients, as well as internal analysis. • Heavy Excel spreadsheet and graphing functions. • Utilize and generate reports from APX portfolio accounting software. • Support portfolio management and operations by using Bloomberg terminal to generate and analyze reports. • Maintain organized electronic and physical files. • Contribute to the team and support operations and staff members as requested with a positive, solutions-oriented approach. • Proactively provide administrative support with diligence and accuracy. • Maintain key contact lists and ensure information is up to date. • Develop an understanding of the company's business entities and strategies in order to work effectively with all levels of employees and clients. • Interact with internal and external parties with polish and professionalism. • Office functions to include receiving and greeting clients, management teams and other guests in person or via phone as well when answering and/or directing inquiries. • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
