Iowans for Taxpayer Relief Foundation, an organization promoting limited government values and free-market principles, is adding an Executive Vice President to our team. The Executive Vice President (EVP) will work closely with the President/CEO to keep the organization growing and adapting to change, while also launching new projects, building internal capacity, and helping the team with long-term success.
This position will handle day-to-day operations, ensuring work aligns with the organization's mission. The Executive Vice President is a strategic leader who can inspire and manage a team across policy, communications, outreach, and development. The EVP will lead all fundraising efforts, overseeing major gifts, donor relations, and annual campaigns, while building a solid pipeline of individual, corporate, and foundation donors.
Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Partner with the CEO to refine the organization's strategic direction and expand the ability to fulfill the mission.
Oversee projects that promote prosperity and freedom for Iowans, grounded in free-market principles.
Manage and support a cross-functional team, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with goals.
Set measurable goals and foster a results-driven culture.
Provide hands-on coaching to team members to enhance performance.
Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to grow the organization's donor base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors, prospects, and community partners.
Manage annual development plans, including grants and key fundraising metrics.
Identify and cultivate donors who can make significant contributions over time.
