Job Overview
The Supervisor, Operations (Medical Management) is responsible for coordination of efforts in key areas of focus including Health Plan audits, corrective action plans, internal audits, and ICE work plans. Assists in the preparation, approval, and management of policies in the designated policy system. This position is essential to maintaining an effective and efficient working relationship with all internal departments and external clients. Supervisors and directs staff dedicated to execution of operational functions and execution of projects to maintain and support strategic objectives of managed care medical management division. Incumbent should possess comprehensive knowledge of managed care industry standards, familiarity with government regulations, experience in interpreting full-service health plan contractual DOFR and delegation logic requirements, understanding of regulatory and accreditation compliance, and experience in managing projects.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a health affiliated or business affiliated field or high school diploma and 10 plus years relevant health care experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of managed care experience, including Medi-Cal managed care, Medicare and Commercial insurance payor systems that preferably includes health plan level.
Project management experience in the planning, implementation, and controlling of medical projects is preferred.
Compensation
$72,448.77 - $90,560.97 annuallyCompensation Disclaimer
