The Lead Network Design Engineering team are paramount to the successful planning and execution of the SD-WAN transformation for the Department of Justice. Their primary role is to assist/consult for the customer in customer-specific responsibilities as the interface back to AT&T. These customer responsibilities include requirements elicitation, solutioning, confirmation, and quality control during the per-customer/per-site discovery, planning, and execution phases of the Transformation. The Lead Network Design Engineer will provide continued support of requirements throughout the program's lifecycle for move, add, change, and disconnect activity.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
For the initial transformation, primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
Identify component stakeholders and establish cadences for collaborative discussion of technical and connectivity requirements, goals, and intended outcomes for SD-WAN transformation per-site.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the proper solution is requested and quoted for each site, with a comprehensive view of the requirements, goals, and intended outcomes for SD-WAN transformation at each site.
Coordinate with sales and ordering teams to ensure the proper solution is ordered; to include overseeing ordering activities, specifically for broadband and cellular services.
Coordinate with ordering, provisioning, project management, and vendors to oversee quality control of delivery to ensure final product meets requirements.
Serve as "escalation point" on any configuration/requirements changes or questions throughout process.
Perform validation post-order completion that delivered site meets requirements.

10+ Years supporting complex network processes for Federal Government customers
10+ Years experience with Cisco networking gear
Existing AT&T-sponsored DOJ Public Trust
Desired Qualifications:
10+ Years experience supporting DOJ / JUTNet
10+ Years experience with AT&T equipment deployment processes
Our Lead Network Design Engineer's earn between $79,600 - $150,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
