Description: Our client is currently seeking a Instructional Designer III
Position: Instructional Designer III
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 6 months Contract
Job Description:
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Evaluate education products using standard templates
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to refine genAI outputs, including prompt engineering
- Assess improvements to the product based on rapid iteration cycles
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
- 4+ years K12 educator / tutoring experience in multiple K12 subjects, either in-person or online
- College degree or equivalent in education, instructional design, computer science, or related field
- Prompt engineering using any genAI tool for education scenarios
- Fluency with GSuite products, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience teaching educators (e.g. leading teacher professional development sessions at multiple grade levels)
- Advanced education in pedagogical principles and learning sciences
- Consulting with education technology products
