Location: Watertown, WI

Salary: $28.00 USD Hourly - $40.00 USD Hourly

Description:
Local manufacturing company is seeking Maintenance Mechanics who are responsible for performing a wide range of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on a variety of industrial equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections, repairs, and overhauls on a variety of industrial equipment, including:
  • Conveyors
  • Packaging machinery
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Motors, gearboxes, and bearings
  • Compressors
  • Material handling equipment (forklifts, hoists)
  • Welding and fabrication
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair (PLC experience a plus)
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and identify root causes.
• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist other maintenance personnel as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with a variety of industrial equipment (as listed above).
• Welding and fabrication skills (MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Basic electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work overtime and on weekends as needed.
