Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Facilities Administrator in Richmond, Virginia. The Facilities Administrator is the primary liaison between the Facilities Supervisors and the Facilities Manager. The Administrator is responsible for invoicing, scheduling, and direct interaction and assistance with property management, property acquisition, architectural, and construction. The Administrator will analyze and propose solutions for defects for the preventive maintenance, new construction, and/ or property acquisition process. Additionally, the individual in this position will monitor service-related expenses for specific Facilities Accounts to assure work order accuracy. Seeking candidates with a minimum five years facilities or procurement experience required. Construction experience preferred. Licensed trades in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
Requirements for the Facilities Administrator position include:
Physical requirements must be met for the Facilities Administrator job, including regularly being required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
