The Senior Vice President (SVP), Sales and Marketing, is a pivotal role within our company. This position combines strategic leadership, operational excellence, and business development to drive revenue growth and enhance brand visibility across international markets. The SVP will lead a team of business development professionals, fostering a high-performance culture, while occasionally spearheading key sales efforts for high-value opportunities. This role emphasizes aligning marketing, sales, and operational strategies to meet the unique challenges of the relocation industry on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Sales Enablement

  • Responsible for creating the strategy by establishing a clear vision for the sales team, defining strategic objectives, identifying key markets, and aligning efforts to drive growth and capture opportunities within key segments.
  • Develop and implement sales enablement strategies tailored to the complexities of the global relocation industry, ensuring alignment with diverse client needs across regions.
  • Equip the business development team with the tools, training, and resources necessary to excel in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
  • Occasionally lead high-stakes sales efforts, particularly with multinational clients or complex service requirements, highlighting best practices and strategic leadership.
  • Partner with CRG Leadership and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design innovative, client-focused solutions that address relocation challenges, including cost control, compliance, and seamless service delivery.

Business Development Leadership

  • Mentor and manage a geographically diverse team of business development professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Oversee the complete sales cycle, ensuring smooth transitions from prospecting to contract negotiation and implementation, with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Maintain and grow an active global pipeline of prospective clients, leveraging data insights and market trends to prioritize and target opportunities effectively.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with global partners, suppliers, and stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and drive business growth.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, forums, and events, enhancing brand recognition and thought leadership in global mobility and relocation services.

Revenue Growth and Strategic Reporting

  • Meet and exceed revenue and productivity goals through effective team leadership and strategic decision-making.
  • Deliver insightful, actionable reports to executive leadership on sales cycles, market trends, and performance metrics, ensuring data-driven strategies.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to refine processes and improve client engagement for sustained growth in global markets.

Marketing and Branding

  • Drive marketing and sales alignment by taking ownership of aligning global marketing strategies with sales objectives, ensuring consistent branding, messaging, and campaign execution across regions to achieve measurable business outcomes.
  • Oversee creation of marketing assets by leading the development of innovative marketing materials, corporate presentations, and promotional campaigns, ensuring they effectively position the company as a trusted leader in global relocation services.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring effective corporate communications by enhancing our communication strategies and maintaining a strong digital presence, driving client engagement, reinforcing brand credibility, and supporting business growth.

Project Leadership and RFP Management

  • Lead the RFP response process for multinational and high-complexity opportunities, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions that address client-specific needs.
  • Mentor team members in effectively navigating the RFP process, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, and customer service, to deliver tailored solutions that ensure successful implementations for new clients.

Leadership and Operational Excellence

  • Uphold a standard of excellence by promoting operational efficiency and ensuring adherence to compliance and quality standards in global service delivery.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and across the organization, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain budgetary discipline, ensuring responsible resource allocation to achieve organizational goals.
  • Serve as a thought leader, contributing insights into corporate strategy and product development initiatives.

Qualifications



What You'll Need:

  • Minimum of 15+ years of industry experience
  • Undergraduate Degree/Graduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) and Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) certifications desired.
  • Strong computer skills including expertise in database use, Smartsheet, Microsoft Windows environment, and Internet usage.
  • Expertise in HubSpot CRM for managing a global pipeline and driving data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with finance teams to develop pro forma financial models and client P&Ls, ensuring the acquisition of profitable clients and alignment with revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • Proven track record of leading diverse teams, driving revenue growth, and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Strong prospecting and relationship development skills with the ability to discover and mine for new opportunities.
  • Strong demonstration of strategic planning and execution including global integration of strategic plans
  • Knowledge of industry trends, including technology, sustainability, and the evolving needs of multinational clients
  • Determines pricing schedules for proposals, RFI and RFP opportunities.
  • Demonstrated staff development, coaching and training.
  • Exceptional presentation skills (written and verbal) with the ability to command an audience.
  • Must be willing to travel, including internationally, up to 20%-25% of the time.
