Aegis Aerospace is currently looking for a Property Administrator to join our team in Houston, TX.
Overview:
• Fully on-site at NASA JSC – no remote duties
Property Duties:
• Utilize, update, maintain on-line property database system.
• Make continuous inventory checks and updates in the property database.
• Pull, update, and return inventory for each mission task – known as kitting.
• Track and maintain equipment calibration for the entire office.
• Submit Purchase Request into CostPoint, per engineering direction.
• General property management – receive orders; tag/enter parts; move/kit parts.
• Possible CONUS travel to support property shipment and return.
• Provide inventory audit support and report generation to comply with contract and DCMA requirements.
• Implement property process updates and procedure updates, as required by contract or DCMA.
• Identify unused items and manage the property excess process.
• Complete property transfer paperwork, as required to support the mission
• Coordinate shipping and receiving of new and existing hardware to and from JSC and/or other test facilities/centers
• Review and recommend improvements to existing Configuration and Property Management procedures
• Lead/Manage the Contract Deliverables (CDRL) implementation and execution including but not limited to submitting and archiving monthly contract performance reports, mission procedures, IT/LAN system configurations, operations plans, contract status documentation, composite mission schedules, meeting minutes, and property inventories
• Provide support to management in conducting configuration meetings and maintaining project schedules
• Maintain historical database and update biannually per CDRL requirements
• Manage access seats to project SharePoint sites for the project teams
Qualifications, Required:
• Must have US Citizenship.
• Fully on-site at NASA JSC – no remote duties
• HS diploma or equivalent (minimum education)
• Must be eligible for a Single Scope Background Investigation.
• Requires excellent written and verbal communications skills, including face-to-face support to customer and other employees.
• Demonstrate proficiency in problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new skills.
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office tools, such as Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with aerospace or technology related configuration and/or property management functions
Qualifications, Desired:
• Direct experience with DoD and/or NASA property management requirements
• Direct experience with space related and/or highly technical configuration management processes
• Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint systems
