Your New Role
As a Senior Energy Modeler, you will:
- Conduct energy modeling using tools like eQUEST to ASHRAE 90.1 Appendix G, supporting design, LEED certification, and energy code compliance.
- Develop technical policies and tools for modeling-based incentive programs, including simulation guidelines and reporting templates.
- Review technical reports submitted by program participants.
- Create and deliver training sessions on energy modeling and energy codes.
- Engage in research related to building energy codes and high-performance buildings.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Proven experience in energy modeling and a strong understanding of energy codes.
- Proficiency with eQUEST or similar tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong communication skills for developing and delivering training.
