Position Title: Marketing Specialist

Position Overview

The Marketing Specialist is a dynamic role which supports a wide range of marketing programs and activities aligned with the company’s business objectives. The Marketing Specialist supports new product launches, promotional programs, and other commercial related initiatives that enhance brand visibility, drive product adoption, and support sales goals. This position reports to the Director, Product Marketing or Sr. VP, Clinical Affairs and Marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supports marketing plans and projects including campaign execution.
• Tracks and analyzes metrics to measure program effectiveness and ensures a feedback loop for continuous improvement.
• Works closely with the sales team and other internal departments to ensure effective communication and support of marketing initiatives.
• Assists in the development of promotional materials including brochures, presentations, white papers, and digital content ensuring alignment with brand messaging.

• Ensures all marketing materials comply with medical device regulations (i.e. FDA or CE requirements), working closely with Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Participates in market research to gather insights on customer needs, market trends, new technologies, and competitor activities to help shape marketing strategies and increase competitive advantage.

• Attends conferences and trade shows as required; maintains awareness of changes in industry practices and technology.

• Coordinates with third party vendors as required.

• Provides administrative support when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is required.
• 1-3 years of marketing experience, with a strong preference for previous experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must be comfortable with evolving responsibilities and willing to learn about new products, technologies, and marketing techniques.
• Ability to interact with healthcare professionals, sales teams, and other stakeholders effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with graphic design software, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools.
• Strong communication, creative thinking, project management, and analytical skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Current driver’s license required.

Working Conditions

This position primarily works in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate.

Primary Location and Travel

We anticipate that on an ongoing basis this role will be an office-based position although up to 20% travel may be required. Participation in face-to-face society, medical and/or other Commercial meetings, as needed, will require additional travel to meet the needs of the business.
