A day in the life



We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of Oracle EPM solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience managing implementations of Oracle EPM modules at a global organization and exhibit exceptional project management skills to ensure successful deployment and integration within current environments. A basic understanding of the core business processes in-scope: including Close, Consolidation, Intercompany Eliminations, Account Reconciliation & Financial Reporting is a plus. Candidate will have extensive experience and understand full implementation life cycle of an Enterprise Financial Systems such as Oracle Cloud ERP, EPM, SAP, etc.



Key responsibilities include:




  • Project Leadership: Manage the full lifecycle of Oracle EPM implementation projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Plan, track and report on key project milestones to Leadership team


  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Maintain effective communication channels to manage expectations and provide regular project updates.


  • Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams comprising technical consultants, business analysts, and subject matter experts. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and facilitate a collaborative working environment.


  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and help develop mitigation strategies to address issues proactively, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and quality.


  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the established quality standards and align with company requirements. Conduct regular reviews and implement corrective actions as necessary.


  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring financial objectives are met.


  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews, to ensure transparency and facilitate knowledge transfer.




Building blocks for success




Required:




  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) is a plus.


  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years focused on Oracle EPM or ERP implementations. Proven track record of managing multiple full-cycle Oracle EPM or ERP projects successfully.


  • Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Oracle EPM suite, including modules such as Financial Consolidation and Close and Account Reconciliations. Familiarity with data integration tools and reporting solutions is advantageous.


  • Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies is preferred. Experience with Smartsheet is preferred


  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to interact effectively with internal and external technical teams, business stakeholders and Leadership/Steering Committee


  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex project challenges and deliver effective solutions.


  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, manage conflicts, and drive project success in a dynamic environment.




Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with cloud-based EPM or ERP solutions.

  • Familiarity with financial processes and regulations relevant to EPM implementations.

  • Certification in Oracle EPM or related technologies.



Hiring Salary Range of: $124,000 - $166,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
