HME is recruiting for a Material Planner II. Coordinates the material plan for new product and the phase-out obsolescence of old products. Material Planner determines the material inventory levels in support of production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and providing status of material availability of assigned products.
  • Reviews material status and shortages with procurement. Communicates with Production Planning regarding priorities and material shortages.
  • Works closely with production leads and production planning to ensure that issues are addressed as quickly as possible.
  • Assists Purchasing and Manufacturing with the resolution of MRP and planning discrepancies.
  • Ensure data integrity of master data elements which drive production and procurement.
  • Maintain Planning BOMs.
  • Manages ECO implementation for assigned product to ensure all material and demand dispositions have been properly implemented.
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Responsible for inventory turns, excess inventory analysis and obsolete disposition.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Computer literate, knowledge of ERP system.
  • Fundamentals of MPS/MRP.
  • Spreadsheet programs.
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • AA Degree (2 years college) - Preferred.

The posted pay range, $59,700 - $79,600 per annum, is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision, and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
