Job Description:

Position Purpose:



Design and develop manufacturing processes for customer needs. Test and research data and products to ensure customer satisfaction. Attention to detail and team orientation needed to maintain an organized and successful environment.



Essential Functions:



• Can manage significant pieces of engineering as the project champion


• Define and design cost-effective manufacturable process needs to meet market demand


• Work with engineering, quality, and production to establish, control, and sustain process objectives


• Act as program lead for large-scale capital project automation and continuous improvement projects


• Provides technical information concerning manufacturing processes, equipment requirements, process advantages and limitations, and both short-term and long-term plant and process planning


• Compiles and analyzes equipment and process operational data to establish performance standards for newly implemented or modified equipment, fixtures, and processes


• Capable of working with outside suppliers to derive the best process solution for W&C.


• Functions as a product expert for equipment and process needs of the business


• Reviews and directs work for junior engineers and technicians


• Other duties as assigned



Education and Training

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering-related field required


• FANUC Robotics Certification preferred


• Solidworks CSWP Certification preferred


• Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt Certification preferred

Minimum Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a related industry.


• Mechanically perceptive and creative/innovative with hands-on orientation.


• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


• Working understanding and knowledge of Computer Aided Design and Analysis tools.


• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.


• Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Travel less than 10%
