Job Overview
The VP, Data Strategy position is responsible for establishing the vision, strategic priorities, and execution of data strategy and analytics initiatives. This position serves as a key strategist to shape and drive an ambitious agenda focused on enabling a customer-centric data & analytics operating model and the transformation of key data and analytics infrastructure and systems. This position has strategic oversight of the analytic product delivery process, and partners with clinical, operations, IT, and Data & Analytics leadership to deliver innovative data & analytics products aligned with AltaMed’s enterprise strategy. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the development and implementation of initiatives to improve enterprise data literacy and expand the organization’s capacity to make data informed decisions. They will also work closely with key leadership within the AltaMed family of companies on the integration of data/analytics.
The Data Strategy team is responsible for developing and driving enterprise-wide data & analytics strategies to support AltaMed’s mission to eliminate health disparities in health care access and outcomes. This team enables growth in value of data & analytics as a product and strategic asset through ongoing alignment of data strategy in support of the business strategy.
Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelors and/or advanced degree in computer science, data science, public health, informatics, mathematics, statistics, machine learning, or other related fields required.
2. Minimum of 12 years of experience performing / leading analytics product development/delivery within a healthcare environment required.
3. Experience leading technical teams on complex data/analytic projects.
4. Experience working with senior leaders.
5. Experience working successfully across different departments and companies within AltaMed.
6. Experience working in the healthcare industry is required
Compensation
$181,689.23 - $227,111.54 annuallyCompensation Disclaimer
Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change. AltaMed is committed to ensuring a fair and competitive compensation package that reflects the candidate's value and the role's strategic importance within the organization. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
