Position Summary Achieve Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. This role requires adherence to ASI’s policies, state, and federal regulations, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with all standards.
Qualifications
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Physical Therapy Assistant license from the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Examining Board, required prior to hire or job transfer.
Education:
Associate’s degree/Technical degree
Position Duties and Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy interventions in accordance with the treatment plan established by a physical therapist.
Apply appropriate techniques and modalities for patient care, ensuring high standards of treatment.
Document treatment interventions and patient responses accurately and promptly.
Assist in coordinating activities of support staff, including physical therapy aides and students.
Comply with payer reimbursement guidelines for all services provided.
Attend scheduled meetings, in-service training, and other professional development activities.
Travel to various facilities as needed for clinical care coverage.
Adhere to company dress code and infection control standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned, within the scope of your role and experience.
Essential Job Functions
Demonstrate competency in treating patients with a variety of impairments, including medical, functional, psychosocial, and orthopedic conditions, to help them achieve their highest level of function.
Collaborate closely with supervising physical therapists to discuss patient progress, treatment responses, and modifications to care plans, ensuring compliance with departmental and professional standards.
Foster patient-centered care through education and collaboration with patients and caregivers, promoting active participation in the treatment process.
Implement prescribed interventions and monitor patient responses, adjusting as necessary.
Complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with professional, regulatory, and billing standards to facilitate proper reimbursement.
