About Cannonball
Cannonball is Belmont Park's rooftop dining experience, known for its stunning ocean views, SoCal sushi, and American-inspired fare. With a lively atmosphere, ocean breeze, and unbeatable sunset views, Cannonball is where guests come to relax, celebrate, and enjoy the best of San Diego. We're looking for friendly and enthusiastic Hosts/Hostesses to warmly welcome guests and set the tone for their dining experience. What You'll Do:
Lead by Example: Guide kitchen staff during AM and PM service shifts, ensuring exceptional food quality and efficiency.
Inspire and Develop: Train, mentor, and manage kitchen team members, fostering a positive and professional environment.
Innovate: Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine to develop exciting new menu items and seasonal features that delight our guests.
Ensure Excellence: Monitor food preparation, presentation, and safety standards to maintain consistency and quality.
Streamline Operations: Oversee inventory management, staff scheduling, and equipment maintenance to optimize kitchen efficiency.
Collaborate: Work with the restaurant management team to ensure smooth operations and a seamless dining experience.
What You Bring to the Table:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a culinary leadership role, preferably in a high-volume, multi-venue environment.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
Expertise in food safety, kitchen operations, and inventory management.
A creative and detail-oriented mindset, with a passion for developing innovative dishes.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
