Southwestern Healthcare is currently seeking a Full-Time Electronic Health Record Analyst to add to our team of professionals. This position is responsible for working directly with vendors, leadership team members and front-line staff regarding various projects, performance improvement opportunities and development updates to the Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) and other applications.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?


  • Analyze and understand the business needs of all corporations.

  • Lead and/or participate on project teams during research, implementation, and upgrades of Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) systems.

  • Consult with managers and end users to continuously improve systems and increase operating efficiency.

  • Establish and maintain system manuals and training materials.

  • Ensure the accurate and timely submission of data to DARMHA by providing DARMHA-related training and working with the vendor to ensure all data requirements are met.

  • Creating, modifying, and deleting database schemas, tables, and data using Structured Query Language (SQL).

  • Provide end-user support.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in health administration, business, health information management or related field required.  Experience in behavioral healthcare preferred.

  • Proficient in SQL.

  • 3 or more years working with EHR/EMR programs preferred.

  • Experience with Business Analytic Tools (i.e. Power BI) preferred.

  • Should have a good working knowledge of word processing and computerized spreadsheet applications.

  • Must have good communication and organizational skills.
